Winter Hymns sets Los Angeles premiere, expands national footprint this summer

After an incredible response in the Midwest this spring, Winter Hymns is officially leaving the Midwest and screening at select theatres around the US and Canada in July and August, starting with a Los Angeles premiere at the Laemmle Royal on July 12, 2026 with more being added.
Other upcoming screenings including the Soglo Theatre in Brunswick, GA starting July 18, Frida Cinema in Orange County (August 9), Flix Brewhouse in Austin, TX (July 25-26), the Magic Lantern Theatre in Spokane, WA (July 25-26, 29), the Historic Park Theatre in Estes Park, CO (July 26) and Cinema Arts in Fairfax, VA (July 26).
"We're thrilled to be bringing our film to audiences outside of the Midwest, and excited to see just how far this film can go in connecting with audiences," says writer/director Nathan Deming. "It's an exciting time for independent cinema as well as an overdue conversation on palliative and end of life care."
Jenna MacGregor, manager of the Park Theatre in Estes Park, CO, writes: "Here in Estes Park we're excited to show independent films that will connect with locals and visitors alike that represent something greater happening in the world.”
